Cross-Chain Protocol Axelar to Connect Dapps to Microsoft Azure

Axelar, a cross-chain protocol, is planning to build a blockchain-based tool that will allow businesses and users to easily connect with decentralized applications (dApps) across Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. According to an Axelar representative, the current market offers limited options for developers and organizations who want to enable one-click user interoperability across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Once implemented, developers will be able to use Azure to access an Axelar-based blockchain tool that connects dApps to networks, services, and developer tools via the AxelarJS software library. This will enable them to automate multi-chain deployments for Web3 products, as well as the Axelar General Message Passing (GMP), which allows developers to integrate applications independent of the blockchains or databases that host them. Additionally, Axelar and Microsoft are looking to connect private and public blockchains that use OpenAI services to create Web3 products.

At the time of writing, Axelar’s AXL tokens were trading at 35 cents in European morning hours on Tuesday.
