The report was based on group discussions that took place at Consensus 2023, which included developers, investors, government officials, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits.
The report highlights the need for the crypto community to explain its purpose to the wider world. Following the crypto crash of 2022, the public may view this technology as a get-rich-quick scheme, and this perception is understandable. However, the report emphasizes the importance of the developers, creators, and entrepreneurs who still believe in crypto’s ideals of openness, transparency, privacy, and decentralization.
I think what the industry could benefit from is affirmative efforts at positive narratives, said a participant in one of the private roundtable discussions.
